Dear L.B.I. Student,

    I want to personally thank you for being a part of Langston Bible Institute.  This has been a rich and rewarding ministry of Langston Baptist Church for many years, and it is my prayer that it will continue to assist area pastors and laypeople for many years to come.  

My goal, since coming to Langston, has been to find a way to offer accredited courses which would transfer to other educational institutions.  I am pleased to announce that goal has been achieved.  That’s right!  We are have become a certified center for Seminary Extension.  

What is Seminary Extension?  It is a ministry of the six theological seminaries of the Southern Baptist Convention, which is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.  It means we will be able to offer college level coursework which will transfer to accredited colleges and institutions like: Charleston Southern University; Columbia International University; North Greenville University; Anderson University, as well as others.

We officially began this cooperative effort in the fall of 2007.  I hope you will be in prayer regarding this venture and help us spread the word to local pastors and laypeople alike.  If you would like more information on Seminary Extension, please call Jessica Johnson at 843-365-5141 to request a catalog.
